Dung Vu founded MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC in Houston, Texas in 2008.  In just 15 years, the company has grown to seven offices.  With over 35 years of experience working in MEP design and construction, he saw the need for a hands-on approach and increased dedication to excel in client solutions. His commitment to exceptional service, designing state of the art and cost-efficient systems became the backbone of the organization.  As the firm’s president, Dr. Vu oversees all production.

Dr. Vu currently holds a P.E. license in 48 states as well as in Puerto Rico.  He also holds Class A HVAC and Refrigeration license in the State of Texas and holds an RME-G license which permits him to plan, install and certify fire sprinkler systems.  He has vast experience in a variety of markets including office buildings, education, hotels and resorts, multifamily, mixed use, industrial, sports/entertainment and medical. 

In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree, Dung Vu holds an MBA degree and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.   Dr. Vu continues to strengthen his personal education and knowledge in order to provide better service to his clients.

MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC continues to expand and improve to better serve the needs of the hospitality, private and public sector markets.  His vision is to see his company’s presence grow in all fifty states as well as in other countries specifically in the Caribbean, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia.  This truly shows his commitment to his philosophy, “To make things happen, I need to move forward.”

Pat has over 35 years of experience in this industry. That experience includes mechanical design, project management, construction services, equipment sales, and field startup. Positions include; project designer, project engineer, project manager, and construction administrator, all for an MEP engineering firm specializing in the design of commercial buildings. Pat was also an owner of an equipment sales agency that concentrated on the HVAC, plumbing, and specialty fuel oil markets.
Pat joined MEP Green Design & Build in 2022 and is their Business Development Director.
He earned a BSME from Texas A&M University in College Station Texas in 1984. He is a registered professional engineer and has a ProFM credential.

Nancy Drennan has accumulated over 35 years of extensive experience. She started her career at Dow Chemical as a student running experimental testing on polymers. Nancy later became the lab supervisor at Guidant, a division of Boston Scientific where she developed a method to enhance the etching process for pacemaker anodes and cathodes.  Returning to Dow, now as a Senior Research Technician, she developed a method that facilitated gas passage through an ionic liquid without coalescing, thereby improving GC readings.

Nancy’s professional journey continued with roles as a Process Coordinator then Purchasing Agent at Jacobs Engineering, followed by positions as a Project Administrator/Project Coordinator at Flintco Construction and Kuck Mechanical, LLC. Nancy holds a BA degree in Process Technology and certifications in Purchasing and Scheduling.   Nancy brings a versatile skill set and strong capabilities to the MEPG Team.

Kevin Lane, our dedicated Business Development Manager for the Northeast Regional office, commenced his journey with MEP Green Design & Build in 2018 as a Business Development Assistant. From the outset, his unwavering loyalty and commitment to client success has set him apart. Kevin's diverse background of experience enables him to effectively communicate with and understand the unique needs of our clients.
In 2023, Kevin's exceptional contributions were recognized when he was promoted to Business Development Manager. He now leads our operations in the Northeast Regional office, situated in our newly established Michigan branch, with a focus on fostering strong client relationships across the Midwest and Northeast. His commitment to going the extra mile and dedication to client success have consistently played a pivotal role in MEP Green Design & Build's growth and achievements, making him an invaluable member of our team.

As the newest member of the Business Development team, Kiana joined MEPG in 2023 and now leads the growth of our newest office located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Kiana holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the Honors College at the College of Charleston. With a diverse professional journey spanning industries such as legal, manufacturing, hospitality, and tourism, Kiana has taken on pivotal roles, including Account Manager, Operations Manager, and, notably, CEO & Founder of a Business Development and Customer Service Consulting firm. Her professional trajectory is marked by an unwavering commitment to operational growth and sustainability, sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Kiana is dedicated to leveraging her linguistic versatility and business acumen to elevate our ventures at MEP Green Design & Build.

Raymond Mason has over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering, project management, business development, and consulting. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1993. He has gained a wide variety experience of technical leadership, consulting, and applications experience since earning his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from University of Kansas in 2005. Raymond’s areas of expertise include electrical design, project management, and technical calculations for commercial, industrial, aviation, government, and healthcare facilities. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Kansas, and Nevada. Raymond serves MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC as an Independent Consultant, particularly in the MEP design for hospitality industry. Raymond provides overall quality control for electrical designs and reviews projects during multiple phases of design development.

Mr. Nangia is a registered Professional engineer with over 40 years experience in design, construction and plant maintenance and has earned his Professional Engineer License in more than 40 states in the U.S., including: States of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Peter Nguyen began his career at MEPG as Project Coordinator/Mechanical Designer at the Houston office in 2016. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Martin’s University. His hands on experience, education, work ethic, and motivated spirit make him the perfect person to provide a combination of world class customer service and technical knowledge to our clients. In 2019, he is being appointed the role of Director of Business Development, to oversee the management of all strategic and operational business development. Similar to the engineers, he is experienced in US Standards (UMC, NFPA, CMC) and International Building (IBC)”.

Dustin Vu is the head of our contracting and design build services department. Dustin received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.   Dustin career began as a mechanical design engineer, concentrating on HVAC systems.   In 2019 he joined MEPG as a project manager / project coordinator.   Dustin was fully responsible for MEPG’s mechanical design team as well as all construction work.  As head of the contracting and design build services department, Dustin fully understands the HVAC construction process, bidding, codes/standards and quality control.     With all of Dustin’s design and build experience, he is the perfect leader for this   division of MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC. 

Patrick Le received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He started his career at MEPG as Electrical Designer at Houston office in 2016. During this time, he oversaw the preparation of electrical design drawings and coordination between architects, contractors, City examiners, suppliers and other trades to ensure quality MEP design. In 2019, with the knowledge in design development, he will be appointed to be Project Coordinator which will assist project manager and MEP teams with the coordination of schedules, meetings, and information. He will organize projects with the goal of on time and accurate completion. Similar to the engineers, he is experienced in US Standards (UMC, NFPA, CMC) and International Building (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC).

Mike Huynh earned his BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler where he also received Summa Cum Laude honors. As a project coordinator for MEPG Mike plays a key role in diligently coordinating and relaying information between clients, project managers, and the design team. Mike's technical expertise in checking drawings, specifications, codes, and owner requirements, coupled with detailed communication with all parties, ensures the successful completion of each project meeting all designated standards.

Johnny Lam has over 15 years of experience in the low voltage field. He is in charge of the design of industrial and intelligent process Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for Industrial Facilities and Commercial Buildings. Mr. Lam has completed over 100 projects and is committed to closely monitoring the constant evolution of security and technology within the industry in order to provide our clients with the most optimal solutions. Through his work with MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC, Mr. Lam designs, validates and reviews design drawings for IT/ Communications Systems & Security construction phases of each project. He dictates the company’s path and policies, while implementing goals that MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC continues to grow and move into the future.
